Michael Graham (Director 1945 – 1958). It was during this period that Cefas contributed greatly to the advancement of fisheries science with the publication of Beverton and Holt’s “On Dynamics of Exploited Fish Populations”. This remains the internationally accepted theoretical basis of fisheries management.
