Cefas Management Board
The Cefas Management Board (CMB) provides governance leadership. It supports the Chief Executive in his responsibilities for providing the overall direction and leadership of Cefas. It also provides a forum for planning strategy, setting policies, reviewing performance and making strategic decisions.
The CMB is supported by two externally populated sub-committees chaired by non-executive directors:
- Audit and Risk Committee: which advises on governance and controls across Cefas
- Cefas Science Advisory Committee: which advises on the relevance, robustness and quality of Cefas science.
Operational decision-making is delivered by the Senior Management Team.
