Cefas and Defra provide a range of publications with information and advice for fish and shellfish farmers. Some of these are available online, and can be obtained by clicking on the links. Others can be obtained by applying to the address given.
The Fish Health Inspectorate publish a Code of Practice and Customer Charter which is updated annually.

Registration of a Fish Farming Business - Explanatory Leaflet (PDF): Located on the Defra website.
A guide to importing fish: On the Defra website. An explanation of the controls governing the movement of live and dead fish, fish eggs and gametes into and from Great Britain.
Combating fish disease: On the Defra website. An explanation of the controls on notifiable fish diseases in Great Britain and advice on steps to prevent the spread of disease.
Trout News: Published twice yearly (January and July) as a service to the British trout farming industry. Recent issues are available on this site.
