Gyrodactylids are common parasites in Danish fish farms. In this study we have investigated the prevalence, abundance and mean intensity of the parasites of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). The species Gyrodactylus derjavini, Gyrodactylus salaris and a Gyrodactylus salaris morphotype, were found. The overall prevalence was 93.3%, the abundance 142.1 and the mean intensity 152.3.
