Applications are now being accepted for the science student partnership
The Science Student Partnership scheme gives the best and brightest second-year A-level science students in Norfolk and Suffolk the opportunity to gain valuable scientific work experience at the Lowestoft laboratory and to be mentored by world-class scientists.
Competition for places on the scheme is strong, with only two placements available each academic year.
Application is by the end of May, with interviews towards the end of July, followed by a preliminary visit in late August for Health & Safety training and to meet staff.
The chosen students are expected to commit to one half day every week for a voluntary placement during their final academic year. At the end of the academic year, the students will be awarded book tokens and/or cash to put towards specific university course material or books.
