RV Endeavour meets HM Bark Endeavour

When HM Bark Endeavour - the replica of Captain Cook's 18th Century sailing ship - was scheduled to visit Lowestoft, the link with Cefas Endeavour was too good to miss.

On her way to carry out the International North Sea Groundfish Survey, Cefas Endeavour rendezvoused with HM Bark Endeavour to pose for these shots with a research vessel from another era.

Cefas is supporting Endeavour’s visit to Lowestoft, and has a stand at the entrance to the ship, which will be moored at the Fish Docks adjacent to Lowestoft Bridge 9-11 August inclusive, and open to the public from 0900 on each day, last entry 1800.
