Abdomen width/carapace length relationship, Anderson index, colour, size and weight of the vas deferens in males and the ovaries in females, proportion buried and egg counts (dryweight and Coulter counter). 1987 to 1992 - samples from Yorkshire, Channel and Wales. Observations as above plus for females; ovary factor as hepatopancreas weight relative to ovary weight; cement gland development; Perkins eye index; oocyte size frequency distributions; egg counts using a HIAC. For males; gonad factor as hepatopancrea weight relative to vas deferens weight; Crusher Propodite Index.
