All Competent Monitoring Authorities undertaking monitoring for the Clean Seas Environmental Monitoring Programme use the programmes' monitoring manual, the Green Book. The sampling requirements for each determinant/matrix combination are outlined along with sampling frequencies and procedure guidelines for sample collection and analysis.
