Reason for immediate notification: re-occurrence of an OIE listed disease in a zone of the country.
Identification of agent: infectious haematopoietic necrosis virus.
Date of first confirmation of the event: 27 October 2006.
Date of start of the event: 16 October 2006.
Clinical disease: yes.
Nature of diagnosis: clinical and laboratory.

Description of affected population: freshwater rainbow trout( Oncorhynchus mykiss )in a semi-closed production system.
