Hatchery-reared spat obtained from native oyster (Ostrea edulis) stocks was cultured. The spat was placed in baskets on rafts at 12 months of age. Bimonthly samples were taken and the presence of Bonamia ostreae, other pathological conditions and mortality were estimated.
