The present chapter describes results of examinations designed to isolate viruses from cultured fish of Taiwan. Included were tilapia (Tilapia mossambica ), eel (Anguilla japonica)and rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri ). The viruses found were identified by fluorescent antibody, electron microscopy and serum neutralization tests.
