Epizootic ulcerative syndrome (EUS) was detected in Queensland by histology in silver perch( Bidyanus bidyanus) and in an epizootic in pond-farmed barcoo grunter (Scortum barcoo) . EUS was also detected in silver perch through active surveillance and confirmed by field level diagnosis (two farms) and histology (research station) in New South Wales.
