21 April 2017
The Centre for the Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (Cefas) will be holding the first of two public consultation meetings on Monday 12th June 2017 (14:00 to 19:30) with the second consultation meeting on Friday 30th June 2017, both to be held at the Lowestoft laboratory, Pakefield Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 0HT.
The purpose of this meeting is to share with the local community expected future redevelopment proposals for the Pakefield Road site and to provide an opportunity for members of the public and our stakeholders to contribute to these proposals.
The site will be open from 14:00 to 19:30 with the proposals being on display throughout the day. There will also be an opportunity to learn about our existing facilities and work. We will be making three separate presentations at 14:30, 16:30 and 18:30 hours so please ensure you arrive prior to these start times. There will be an opportunity at the end of the presentations to give your feedback, and ask questions of our architects and members of the Project Team. All contributions will be considered within the next stage of the design process. No final decision on the redevelopment proposal will be made until autumn 2017.
