Andrew Joseph
MICROBIOLOGIST
Andrew is a Microbiologist with expertise in bacterial fish disease diagnostics, microbial water quality analysis, fish disease challenge studies and development of one health aquatic AMR surveillance projects. Andrew's interests are in the sciences, governance frameworks and societal responses that underpin the sustainable management of aquatic food systems and the environment. Andrew is currently leading the coordination of activities in Ghana under the Blue Planet funded Ocean Country Partnership Programme. He is also providing technical assistance on the Fleming Fund programme under the UK FAO Reference Centre for AMR. Andrew is currently obtaining an Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) accredited MSc in Green Economy at Bournemouth University.
