Ocean Country Partnership Programme

As one of the most nature dependent and climate vulnerable countries in the world, OCPPs work is focused on the sustainable management of marine and coastal resource to protect livelihoods and alleviate poverty.  Working in close collaboration with the Madagascan government and community organisations, capacity building is focused on ocean management and marine conservation to protect food security and critical biodiversity that underpin Madagascar’s coastal protection. This has been especially focused on the threat to marine fisheries, support national and community conservation efforts and ocean literacy to bring in marginalised groups to the debate on ocean management to alleviate poverty.

Below, you will find a collection of resources, including published papers and reports, showcasing the progress and outcomes of our work in collaboration with Madagascar and in region.
