Community of Practise

Launched in 2022 by the UK FAO Reference Centre for AMR, the AMR Community of Practise (CoP) connects laboratory professionals, researchers, and stakeholders dedicated to combating antimicrobial resistance in food and agriculture worldwide.

The AMR CoP is a free, voluntary network where members can:

  • Learn from experts and global AMR specialists.
  • Access professional development opportunities, including research funding guidance, travel grants, and scholarships.
  • Share experiences, ideas, and success stories.
  • Build connections and collaborate with peers across sectors.

We meet online every three months for engaging, interactive sessions featuring expert talks, case studies, quizzes, and member-led presentations. Our signature segments - “Meet Your AMR CoP Community” and “CoP Billboard” allow members to showcase their work, announce achievements, and highlight upcoming events or publications. Whether you’re already working on AMR or simply want to get involved, the AMR CoP is your space to learn, share, and collaborate.

Membership is free - your ideas are priceless.
