Training workshops on sample collection and E. coli testing for African countries and Bangladesh, 2023-2024

Between November 2023 and February 2024, the FAO Reference Centre hosted three training workshops at its laboratory in the UK. Over the course of the workshops, delegates from Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique and Senegal received practical and classroom training on practical methods for determination of E. coli in bivalves and associated sampling techniques. A report covering the three training workshops is available on the website.
