Seafood SafetyRegional and Training Workshops
In partnership with the FAO, the Reference Centre organises regional and training workshops to promote safe, sustainable bivalve shellfish safety amongst Member Countries. These workshops help to build networks of responsible authorities and official laboratories with the aim of developing and enhancing microbiologically safe bivalve shellfish production for domestic consumption and trade.
