Regional and Training Workshops and Webinars

In partnership with the FAO, the Reference Centre organises regional and training workshops to promote safe, sustainable bivalve shellfish safety amongst Member Countries. These workshops help to build networks of responsible authorities and official laboratories with the aim of developing and enhancing microbiologically safe bivalve shellfish production for domestic consumption and trade. The Reference Centre has also collaborated with FAO Fisheries and Aquaculture division to provide a webinar as part of FAO's Globefish series, enabling people with an interest in bivalve sanitation from around the world to access relevant information and advice.
