Marine Scientist - Climate Change
Susana is a member of the Climate Impacts and Adaptation team at Cefas. Susana is a marine scientist that specialises on evidence and risk assessment of climate change impacts on marine and coastal environments. Some of her recent projects focused on key marine systems such as coral reefs and seagrasses. She is currently studying the interaction between climate change and marine litter. Some of her other areas of interest include blue carbon and climate change mitigation, and she is currently seconded to the Offshore Wind Enabling Actions Programme team at Defra. Susana is also one of the co-ordinators of the Cefas Science Talks.
