Climate Change Team Leader, Principal Scientist – Marine Numerical Modeller
David has a background in renewable energy and numerical modelling, and his experience spans engineering, coastal observation analysis and numerical modelling. These modelling skills are applied to a variety of applications ranging from modelling hydrodynamic conditions, morphodynamics and beach erosion to environmental and water quality issues. David leads the numerical modelling for the Cefas UK nuclear programmes. Current research ranges from modelling the risk of coastal erosion, both domestically and overseas, to catchment-to-coast modelling to understand the dispersion of pathogens and their associated risks to shellfisheries
