TEMPORARY PAUSE IN OCNS PRODUCT REGISTRATIONS DUE TO PLANNED OCNS DATABASE UPGRADE

Please be aware the OCNS database has undergone a major update and there will be a temporary pause in accepting new or recertified product registrations to the OCNS inbox from 19 May 2025 - 27 May 2025 (inclusive) to allow for scheduled downtime and to ensure the system is working as it should.

Any products received during this time will not be processed by the OCNS team and will need to be re-submitted again after the temporary pause (from 28^th May 2025). Cefas remind suppliers that they can submit products for recertification up to 6 months prior to the expiration date on the template.

Fast track registrations received directly from the regulators will still be prioritised by the OCNS team.

Any other queries will be answered by a member of the OCNS team through the OCNS Chems inbox (ocns.chems@cefas.gov.uk) as soon as possible. The OCNS team will also continue to send out product templates for products already in progress before the planned downtime.   

Please be aware that there are likely to be minor delays to the standard 8-week turnaround for generating product templates during this time with normal service set to resume on 28^th May 2025.
